OZ Tip

So first of all I wanted a picture of a sponge. So I googled sponge.
This is what probably 80% of the pictures came up as:

But as silly and fun as this little guy is he's not what I want to talk about. So after altering my search to "cleaning sponges" I got a much better result.

Okay the point of the post. I love to watch the Dr. Oz Show. It's super fun and entertaining and very informative. The other day I got this great tip from him. The easiest way to disinfect a sponge is to get it wet and stick it in the microwave for 1 minute. Easy! You don't have to wash it or boil it or vinegar it. See I am not a germ-o-phobe. They are super low on my list of worries. But there are three things that seriously gross me out. Bowling balls, money, and sponges. So sponge problem solved! Thank you Doc!

Happy Sanitizing!

I've heard they can catch fire in the microwave though, I always put mine in the dishwasher.

Dr oz says that as long as you have it nice and wet you won't have that problem. The dishwasher works too. If you have one of course...
